Mario has been married twenty-five years to his lovely wife Linda. They have two boys, Mathew and Marco, and Mikko the cat.

Dedicating his life to raising his family and providing a solid foundation, the "almost empty nest" is now allowing him to pursue his passion for writing.

In 1977 his idea for Store Wars, a children's animated fantasy, was born working nightshifts stocking grocery stores shelves. It was way back then that he knew he wanted to write. Life got in the way and it wasn't until 2006 he finished his first novel Snap. Writing in his spare time at airports, hotels, weekends and late nights is what it is taking to realize his dream of being a writer. Maintaining a good sense of humor also helps. 

Mario's has a diverse background. From real-estate agent, to Restaurateur and Director of Sales with a global corporation, his creativity and energy has always drove his success.

That same energy and creativity also drive his story telling. Finally. "The harder you work, the luckier you get." Nothing could be truer for Mario.
